National Compact refresh: have your say
Joint Commission for the Compact and South West Forum event
Wednesday 30th September, Taunton 12.30pm (lunch and registration) to 4.00pm
The Compact exists to enhance relationships between statutory and voluntary organisations at local, regional and national level. Nationally, the Compact is being ‘refreshed’ - a process which aims to result in a more streamlined document. If the National Compact is to be a credible and effective tool it is absolutely essential that feedback and views are gathered from as wide a range of organisations as possible.
This consultation event is open to all organisations and will have a particular focus on campaigning. Places are free but limited - please see below for further information and booking form.
Fred Heddell, Non-Executive Director of the Commission for the Compact, along with South West Forum and Compact Commission staff, are expecting a good debate and very much want to hear your views.
Click here to visit the Compact Commission website and scroll down the page to find out more about Fred who has a wealth of voluntary sector experience including a spell as Chief Executive of Mencap.
